HEB Shopping Trip 2/12 Saved $135

Ok so before I head to HEB I make sure I have my list ready with all coupons, giftcards, and catalinas I have. 

I check the weekly ad for deals that I may have coupons for and even  if I don't and they are still a good deal I will take. 

I will usually pay close attention to all the B Savings Coupons hanging on the isle next to the items. 

It takes me about 3-4 hours for a good savings trip planned out. 

MQ means Manufacturer's Coupon and these are the coupons from the newspaper. You can see when and which insert these coupons came out on here.

I did 3 transactions on this trip because I had 3 $5 Catalinas from a previous deal HEB had from last month. You cannot use them in one transactions so that is why I split my purchase into 3.

I got these Valentine's Candy Boxes and used the $3 off $8 coupon that HEB had available if you are signed up to their weekly email newsletter. If you are not signed up yet, you can do so here. 

Here is the coupon for this deal.

The big candies were $4ea. so $8 total minus the $3= $5 for both

and then the small candies were $1 at 8 = $8-$3coupon=$5 for all 8

I used 2 printable coupons. 

 I also got a good deal on the meat and seafood section and I used the printable coupon HEB has available until Friday 2/14 of $3off $15 Seafood or Meat Purchase

Campbell's Italian Wedding Soup $.25ea after $.50/2 MQ when you buy 2

Grands Biscuits $.98ea after $.50/1 MQ

Toaster Strudel $1.35ea after $.35/1 MQ

Wet N Wild Mascara $.97ea after $1/1 MQ

Nivea Lip Balm Buy 2 and get 2 Free Lip Balm and use 1 $3/2 Nivea Lip MQ so they will be $.74ea.

This is not stacking! You are using a MQ on an item you are paying for not on the item you are getting for free. 

HEB B Savings Coupon Buy Starkist Tuna Pouch on sale $1ea. and get a Free Bush's Black Beans Can

Use $1/2 Starkist MQ

and get both at $.25ea. 

You will need to buy 2 pouches to get 2 cans free and use 1 MQ and 2 B Savings Coupons

Herdez Salsa BOGO with B Savings Coupon $1.77

so after coupon $.89ea.

I bought the Huggies in a different transaction and this is what I did:

Used Buy Huggies Big Pack get Free Wipes B Savings Coupon

Used $5 Catalina from a previous deal HEB had last month

and $3/1 Huggies MQ

I paid $10.97 and saved $9.98

 Halls $.98ea when you buy 2 and use $1/2 MQ

BallPark Pork Franks are on sale for $.98ea.

 Stouffer's has a B Savings coupon Buy Stouffer's get Free Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough and Fun Size Candy bag and I used a $1/1 MQ

This rice is delicious! I recommend it.

Make sure at checkout that you have all coupons in order so that you won't make your checkout longer. I had a not so patient cashier but as always was nice to him and at the end Thanked Him for being so patient with me and asked him to give me a card to comment on his patience to corporate. He was pleased.
